Guyabano: A Natural Treatment for Cancer That The Pharmaceutical Industry Does Not Want You to Know
Also known as soursop, the guyabano tree grows in Central America, the Caribbean, South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. It’s believed to be one of the most beneficial anti-cancer fruits and there has been researching that proved this. It can treat cancer by destroying the cancerous cells.
However, despite the findings, the fruit doesn’t have the needed acceptance from the medical word since it’s a 100% natural cure for cancer and not a pharmaceutical drug that can bring profit.
Researchers claim that it can treat cancer because it has the following characteristics:
It protects the immunity and prevents infections
It fights off cancer naturally and you won’t feel any side effects like in chemo
Strengthens the body and increases the energy
A study from 1996, published in the Journal of Natural Products, stated that bioactivity-directed fractionation of the seed resulted in the isolation of a new compound that is selectively cytotoxic to colon cancer cells in which it was more powerful than Adriamycin.
Furthermore, another study showed that guyabano extracts targeted and destroyed cancerous cells in around 10 cancer types, including breast, colon, lung, prostate, and pancreatic. Interestingly, the study was led by a major drug manufacturer and included more than 20 laboratory tests that began in the 70s. They have shown that guyabano has the following anti-cancer properties:
- Destroys cancer cells in 12 types of cancer
- The compounds from the tree were 1000 times more potent than adriamycin in inhibiting the growth of cancer cells
- The extract from guyabano didn’t target the healthy cells like chemo does
This potent fruit has so many other health benefits besides inhibiting the growth of cancer:
It’s rich in thiamin, a vitamin which the body needs to convert sugar into energy
It contains calcium which prevents loss of bone tissue
The niacin in it helps in controlling the cholesterol levels
The riboflavin in it is beneficial against headaches and migraines
The iron prevents blood disorders, including anemia
It fights off constipation since it is rich in fiber that betters the bowel movement, encourages weight loss, and solves colon problems
Due to the fact that the fruit is rich in potassium, it can cure and prevent leg cramps and muscle weakness
Being rich in vitamin C, guyabano can prevent and treat UTI
It is highly recommendable for pregnant women as it prevents the risk of any complications and it has folate that prevents deficiencies
Soursop is also great for alleviation of premenstrual symptoms by preventing retention of water
